Obviously they pay their writers and cartoonist a lot of money as they seem to get the best. Very current and detailed journalism. This is a liberal publication for Eastern elites. I have been reading it for twenty years even though I am in Jacksonville, Florida. I never go to New York. Excellent editing and choice of the subject matter.
I love the New Yorker magazine, and have paid for and read it in many formats over the years. This form of the subscription where I get the current magazine delivered to my Fire is working well for me. And the price of $5.00 a month for the two biweekly magazines is the best value I have found. The only thing I had to give up was an actual copy to keep, paper or digital. In this subscription, the next current issue replaces the past one, and there is no copy saved. If I want to keep digital copies of any magazine the price through Zinio is usually double what I am paying for this, and Zinio stores the copy for me, so it is not on my device taking up space. I have decided this magazine is so current event oriented that keeping a copy is not necessary. The magazine is beautiful and easy to read on my Fire.
None better. More editing for the modern era? Shorter articles, not more than 6 pages, maybe??
